Landscaping

We hold the landscaping licence, so the yard can be its own project — a front yard redone for curb appeal, a backyard patio and planting, a drought-tolerant conversion — not only the last item on a remodel. And because we also build and plumb, the outdoor kitchen, the gas fire pit and the drainage are one contract rather than three.

Scope

What the work involves

Hardscape

Paths, patios, pavers, steps and retaining walls, set out so drainage runs away from the house rather than towards it.

Planting, lawn and irrigation

Beds, lawn, trees and drought-tolerant planting laid out around how you actually use the yard, with drip and spray irrigation zoned to match.

Outdoor living

Built-in seating, outdoor kitchens, fire features and shade structures, with the gas and water lines run under our own plumbing licence.

Grading and drainage

Getting water away from foundations and hardscape. It is the least visible part of a yard and the one that causes the most damage when it is wrong.

From first call to final walkthrough

Talk it through
Tell us what you want to change. We ask the questions that decide the price before anyone comes out.

Define the scope
We measure, check what is behind the walls where we can, and put the work in writing — what is included and what is not.

Build it
A scheduled crew, a sequence you can follow, and a clean site at the end of each working day.

Final walkthrough
We walk the finished work with you and close out anything on the list before we call it done.

Questions

Before you call

Do you take landscaping on its own?

Yes. We are licensed C-27 for landscaping, so a yard-only project is a normal job for us.

Can you do a drought-tolerant conversion?

Yes — lawn removal, new planting, mulch or decomposed granite, and drip irrigation. We will tell you what your water district's current rebate looks like rather than promise a figure.

What about landscape lighting?

Low-voltage lighting is part of the landscape scope. Line-voltage electrical work is carried by a licensed electrical contractor we coordinate into the schedule.
